Author is the Deep Sea Captain, Ph.D. in Navigation, Professor, Member of IFSMA, the acting Master of Supertankers with 20 years of experience. He commanded the tankers with deadweight from 48,000 up to 330,000 tons. Author of 15 books for the navigators on navigation, commercial operation of the fleet, legal issues, etc., including the author of the Master's Handbooks in Ukrainian, Russian and English. The Member of the 25th Soviet Antarctic Expedition. For three years he headed the Department of Technical Aids of Navigation at OHEMS (now ONMA).
